Both the House and Senate are not in session today. The Senate will reconvene at 3:00 P.M. on Monday, July 25th, while the House will return on Tuesday, July 26th at 6:30 P.M. The House is expected to recess next Friday, July 29th and not return for votes until September 13th.
When the Senate reconvenes at 3:00 P.M. on Monday it will resume consideration of the Message accompanying S.3373, the legislative vehicle for the Honoring Our PACT Act which would create a concession of exposure for burn pits and airborne hazards, establish a list of presumptive conditions, and provide a framework for assessing future conditions linked to any toxic exposure, foreign or domestic, past, present, and future.
At 5:30 P.M., the Senate will resume consideration of the Message accompanying H.R.4346 and vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the CHIPS+ legislation.
