The Senate now stands adjourned for pro forma sessions only with no business conducted on the following dates and times: Tuesday, December 23rd at 8:30 A.M., Friday, December 26th at 1:30 P.M., Tuesday, December 30th at 11:00 A.M., Friday, January 2nd at 3:00 P.M. and Saturday, January 3rd at 12:00 P.M. The Senate will then convene at 3:00 P.M. on Monday, January 5th, 2026. Following Leader remarks, the Senate will be in a period of morning business with senators permitted to speak therein for up to ten minutes each. At approximately 5:30 P.M., the Senate will vote on confirmation of Executive Calendar #70 Keith Bass, of Texas, to be an Assistant Secretary of Defense
